Meet Thierry Henry and the Arsenal Players!
Thursday July 24th – Event starts at 6.30pm

Arsenal America and Arsenal NYC have worked hard with Arsenal FC to organize a great event to meet Thierry Henry and some of the Arsenal Players. We’ve been waiting for the club to confirm the details and here they are:

- Guest appearance from Thierry Henry who along with the players will interact with fans via a Q&A session
- Giveaways
- Interactive games
- Group photos
- FA Cup attendance for whole event
- Select Arsenal players in attendance for approx. 1.5 hours from 7pm

Wristbands are required to participate. The Club is putting on complimentary shuttle bus service from Secaucus train station to the venue. All wristbands will be provided by the Supporters Clubs. For Arsenal Canada our wristbands are being handled by Rick Breese of Arsenal America as none of the executive from Arsenal Canada are attending the match. If you are not attending the match but want to attend the event, you need to be an Arsenal Canada 2014-15 member. Please become a member of your local club if you see this message and want to go! To get a wristband, email with the name(s) of the members going with you and we will get your name to Arsenal America. Act fast, because quantities are limited.

Look forward to seeing you there!!

This post is an update regarding both the FA Cup Semi-Final (April 12) and the NY Red Bulls pre-season match (July 26).

FA Cup Semi-Final. A certain number of tickets was made available to individuals and supporters clubs with Silver memberships. We do not have many silver memberships and have not used them to procure tickets enough to qualify to apply for tickets for this match. We will not be able to apply for Semi-Final tickets, sorry. This will be the same situation should Arsenal make it to the FA Cup Final.

There has been a lot of chatter regarding the pre-season match between the NY Red Bulls and Arsenal. The club has advised me in writing this morning that Arsenal has not announced any allocation of tickets as they have not received any allocation from the NY Red Bulls. When Arsenal FC receives their allocation of tickets all supporters clubs will be invited to apply for tickets at the same time. The information on the Arsenal America site claiming that tickets will be received from Arsenal is incorrect.

Arsenal Canada will have an equal opportunity to apply for tickets for the match through Arsenal FC in the same manner as every match we apply for tickets. Please continue to be patient as Arsenal FC is waiting for their ticket allocation and we will then open it up to members to apply for tickets. To become a member for the 2014-15 season you can email The form for membership is found HERE.

As for the other events being run by Arsenal America, that is a trip of their initiative, they have been nice enough to share the information on various pages, but without the direct inclusion of Arsenal Canada. Their events look like a good time and would be a great way to meet Arsenal members south of the border.

This post is strictly designed to explain the ticketing issues and how it affects Arsenal supporters. As soon as we receive word regarding tickets for Arsenal supporters it will be posted here and on the Arsenal Canada facebook page and on the Arsenal Canada twitter account (@ArsenalCanadaSC). If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to email us at or

Arsenal – North American Tour

We have received a considerable number of emails regarding the pre-season visit of Arsenal to North America. The club has not sent out any details about tickets for supporters yet.

As the NY Red Bulls are hosting the match, they have the rights to distribute tickets in any manner they see fit. Ticket availability for this match may follow away match stipulations, but we are waiting on more information. As more information is available it will be posted on our website, our Facebook page and the Arsenal Canada twitter account @ArsenalCanadaSC

Any requests for tickets received before a ticket window opens will be disregarded.

Welcome to the 2013-14 Arsenal Canada season

We are well underway with ticket requests placed for many matches and our contests starting. As always we will be updating the main page, but also posting updates to the forum. If you have any questions about Arsenal Canada please email

To join, please CLICK HERE for the membership form or click on the join tab and you will be prompted to download the form.

Arsenal Canada members enjoy several benefits:
- access to match tickets before Red and Silver members
- a chance to win prizes in the fantasy contests/games Arsenal Canada participates in (Fantasy Premier League, Talksport Premier League Predictor, UEFA Fantasy CL [subject to Arsenal's qualification], and the Arsenal Canada Multi Question Contest)
- an Arsenal Canada membership pack
- discounts at some of our supporter bars across the country (we are constantly working to add more bars and more discounts)
- participation in the Arsenal Canada group orders from Arsenal FC (savings of 20% before shipping and customs [if applicable])

If you are looking for information on tickets, please join the forum and visit the “Tickets” section and check out the threads for “2013-14 Ticket Application Deadlines” The procedures for applying for tickets are there as well. Please note that we are unable to apply for away tickets as that is a separate scheme run by Arsenal. The last three seasons we have fulfilled 100% of our on time ticket applications.

Last year’s fantasy prize winners won this year’s away kit, a definite incentive to play.

In this year’s Arsenal Canada membership pack we will have our first custom scarf. We expect to receive them around labour day with shipping to start shortly thereafter. I want to sincerely thank Alan Cooke for stepping up to help with the membership packs. It is the hardest part of Arsenal Canada and his work will greatly improve our delivery of membership packs. He will handle shipping and he will be recovering the shipping fees from members.

Continued thanks to Owen Stride for managing the site and forum and to Abhi Rattu for work on the new website. These guys do a lot to help keep this possible and never get enough thanks. Thank them on the forum, they are known as Brownstar and Gunnerhead respectively.

I also want to say thanks to everyone who has stepped up to volunteer in other capacities. We still need help with twitter, not with running an account yet, but with gaining control of inactive twitter handles (@ArsenalCanada) or with impersonation accounts. We also need help finding more sponsor bars in other markets. We are looking good in Toronto and Vancouver with solid relationships. Calgary has a new location for this season which is really exciting. The Greater Hamilton/Brantford area should have a pub in the near future, and we’re hoping to get Montreal and Ottawa marked as official pub cities too. If you want to get your local on the map, let me know.

Hopefully this year we grow more than last year and that Arsenal FC brings us some silverware.

Arsenal Canada – Tickets and Membership Update

Thank you Arsenal Canada members and friends for making this our most successful year in my tenure, maybe ever. We have around 80 members this year and we sold out of Arsenal Canada t-shirts. We will be doing another batch and starting work early on next year’s membership pack. I still struggle with getting them out on time, and desperately need assistance with this for next season. If you want to volunteer, please message me at

We applied for 54 tickets this year. We are waiting on confirmation for Manchester United, but we have been successful on all applications in the three years that I have been involved as chair/co-chair. 18 different people applied for tickets for themselves and often a family member. 10 members are going to the Reading match and we managed to send 6 people to the Chelsea match at the Emirates!

We broke last year’s record for group order sales, not by much, but we beat it. We successfully levied Arsenal FC and got our discount restored in the form of a VAT exemption. We just completed our last group order for the year. As Arsenal prepare for new stock I have learned that items for order in the spring could be limited this year. There might be a late season group order, but wait for an announcement before assuming we will do another one. Before any rumours surface, we are still affiliated with Nike for next season; beyond that is uncertain.

I desperately need help for next season administratively and especially in key markets (Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Montreal). Vancouver is in great shape and members of Vancouver Arsenal want to work collaboratively, which is fantastic. In Toronto we have had phenomenal success in our partnership with the Fox and Fiddle (@FoxOnYonge), and Vancouver has been tremendously successful with Phatters Sports Bar (@PHAT_Yaletown).

I really desperately need a volunteer for next year. It will be my fourth year in charge (third on my own), and it is a lot of work. We are soon going to grow beyond what I can handle on my own.
I am looking for help with the production and distribution of membership packs.
I need someone to help chat with bars in other cities to get them involved.
If someone is an expert on twitter it would be great if we could get control of @arsenalcanada
If you want to get involved in other facets of Arsenal Canada please do not hesitate to email me.

We will be launching our new website in the coming months. I want to make sure we’ve tested every link, all of the security, and got everything set up before sharing it publicly. It takes time, plus we are waiting on the funds to pay for it.

Arsenal Canada T-Shirts – IMPORTANT

Just to let you know we are currently out of stock of Arsenal Canada membership t-shirts, a new order will be going into the vendor shortly and once stock is received we will get them out to you.

Offical Arsenal Canada Pubs – Update

We have two new official supporters pubs, details are below:

Fox and Fiddle – 1535 Yonge Street, Toronto
Open for ALL ARSENAL MATCHES starting November 24
Details can be found here

PHATter – Details can be found here
