Emmanuel Adebayor has been voted Player of the Month for January by Arsenal Canada members. As has been said elsewhere, it’s a good job that Togo aren’t very good, it’s hard to imagine how we would have coped without the big man who is not just scoring goals but obviously enjoying every minute of it.

Arsenal Canada member redshark had this to say about Ade and his contribution:

“Ade and his big goals and amazing hustle has made the difference. He has achieved consistency and a maturity in his game that is making him one of the top strikers in Europe. You gotta think that he will get better still and this should be very exciting for us fans!”

Ade took home over 76% of the vote, miles ahead of Mathieu Flamini who also had a very good month.
